Current Faves and Newbies!

Hi everyone! So much for me sticking to my new years resolution of blogging every week ugh! I’m so so sorry guys! You have no idea how crazy life has been(yay moving!) Never the less, I am so excited to be getting this post in and showing all of you some of my current favorites and things that I have recently picked up. Some of this is from Valentines day and others are just from my weekend outings! I was so excited to pick up these lip smackers lip blams, it reminds me of being in elementary school and all of my friends and I comparing the flavors we each had hah (and they taste great too shhhh!)

Lip Smackers

The Prada Candy perfume is something that I had been going back and forth on for the longest time, so finally for Valentines day my beau decided to make the decision for me! How sweet I know haha but I truly love this softer sweet scent of this version of the Prada Candy perfume, its fun for everyday or that perfect amount of sweet and floral for a night out on the town.

VB Nail Polish

Last but not least is the new Nails Inc polish designed by Mrs. Victoria Beackham herself. I am OBSESSED with Nails Inc polishes and to have a color from VB lets just say it took just about a second to find it in my basket. I am a neutral polish lover all the way and this color is such a beautiful shade of milky white pink that I have been wearing for weeks now. She has two shades but I felt like I would have worn this shade more then the fun and vibrant orange shade she had. You can check out your local Sephora to give these shade a try before you buy!

If any of you have been absolutely LOVING something lately let me know, I would love to try out some of the products that you cant live without =).

Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask

Pumpkin Mask 1

Pumpkin Mask 2

Pumpkin Mask 3

As every other beauty obsessed person out there this past weekend was a product bananza at Sephora thanks to the VIB and VIB Rouge discount! I did take full advantage as did my mother since the holidays are around the corner but the mask I am going to share with you today I actually got before it. Thankfully I did because when I went to get another just to stock up they were all sold out! If you haven’t seen it already this limited edition Pumpkin Enzyme Mask from Peter Thomas Roth is just about one of the most amazing things that has happened to my skin. Not only does it smell like pumpkin pie (no joke it really does) but it is powerful and effective! The reason this little jar of magic is so effective is because it contains Alpha Hydroxy Acid which peels aways the dead skin that gets built up on or face and it decongest our pores and the Aluminum Oxide polished your skin leaving it bright and rejuvenated. I have problem skin around my chin area and it even worse during certain times of the month which is so frustrating for me because I really do try to keep my skin clean and use products that are gentle and cleansing. This mask has completely helped my skin in such a big way, I put it on after I cleanse my face leave it on for 7 minutes and just wash it off. For me I can really see a glow on my skin after I wash it off and moisturize which is crazy because nothing has ever done that before. I will say that when I first put it on it burns right around my nose and the apples of my cheeks but that quickly goes away. I am so incredibly impressed with this mask and am going to buy another before it goes away. I hope this review helped you all and if you aren’t ready to shell out the amount for it, this mask actually comes in a little trio for $20 that you can pick up at sephora! Hope you all enjoyed and I would love to hear from any of you that have tried this as well and if it worked for you!

Sephora Picks

Whenever I go to the mall I feel like it is never complete without a trip to Sephora, wether I need something or not it is always so much fun to wander around and be surrounded by things that make me feel good. On this last trip I ended up picking up some items that I really needed and really wanted to try.

The Dry Bar line at Sephora is currently my hair care obsession, I started with the VIP Pack and since then I have been hooked. This dry shampoo is simply amazing and really peps up your hair without it looking chalky like other dry shampoos can do. Also the smell alone is such a selling point, it is so fresh and pleasant that you will wonder how you ever lived without it! Also the clips are great for blowdrying instead of me just using one clip and constantly putting down my blow dryer to take another section of hair down, I can section it all out before I start and just take them out section at a time.

Next are these awesome Facial Pads by Peter Thomas Roth. Now I have to admit I didn’t go in looking for these I wanted their Sulfur Mask but unfortunalty its so popular that they were out. There was actually a Peter Thomas Roth consultant there and she recommended these pads that are like an all in one and wold be great for my oily skin. I think they smell great (a Peach Bellini Scent to be exact) but some say the smell is kind of strong for them. Also the pads are so saturated with product that you can actually cut them in half and use only half for each use (and you now have twice the amount!).

No trip is complete for me without a visit to the perfume section, if you didn’t know already I am a huge/obsessed  fragrance lover! I finally found the Nirvana Black Roller Ball by Elizabeth and James which I had been searching for since they came out. If you haven’t had smelled these yet then you are missing out, because they are wonderful! I already have the Nirvana White Rollerball which is a light, fresh and airy fragrance that I wear all of the time. Finally I was so excited that I was able to find the Nirvana Black Rollerball that is a more sweet and musky scent which to me is more of a night time fragrance. What some don’t know is that alone these scents are remarkable but they can even be worn layered together to create a unique scent that is all your own.

Hope you all enjoyed these recent picks of mine and would love to hear what are some of your must have Sephora finds!

xoxo Val
