December Birchbox

December Birchbox

December Birchobx2

Hi everyone! I am so excited to share this months birchbox with you all! I am honestly so so excited about everything that I got! I was kind of nervous because I ended up missing the time frame to pick a sample for my box and by the time I saw it all of them were unavailable =(. When I did receive, it took me less then a second to rip open the box to see what treats I got, and can we talk about how awesome this months holiday box is! Anything gold I am usually a fan of (shocking right!) I can not wait to see what all of you got and hear what some of your favorites were. I am really looking forward to trying the plumping line from Davines. Talk to you all soon!

Lush Re-Stock

I am a total Lushie, I think their products are so fun and work like a dream. After discovering their facial products a couple years back I have been hooked ever since and it is what I always come back to. I feel like I am always trying new products and some times they work and other times my skin is left in a total mess but I always can count on the wonderful products from Lush to balance my skin. After finishing off the last of my supplies of it I decided to re-stock on my favorites and share with all of you what I got. For my cleanser my favorite hands down is the Fresh Farmacy. I love this because it is a calamine based soap that really works at calming your skin and reducing any redness. There is also lavender to smooth dry areas and tons of tea tree to help clear up any blemishes! The toner I use is the Tea Tree Water which helps brighten dull skin and helps with any blemishes one may have (see the theme here!) and helps control your oil. Vanishing Cream is the moisturizer I have come to love because not only is it light but it uses witch hazel which helps to minimize and clear out clogged pores. One of my favorite things about the moisturizer is the scent, I am a hug lavender fan and one of the main ingredients just so happens to be lavender which balances out your skin.  Life can get crazy and hectic but thanks to all these awesome products my skin can be balanced and calm even if life isn’t! I would love to hear what some of your favorite products from Lush are or any suggestions as to what else I can try!

Recents from Sephora

Hi everyone! I can not believe its December already, I feel like this year has flown by! With crazy school, work and social calendars I guess its easy to see how weeks and months just kind of blended together. I know this post is a little late but I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are enjoying this holiday shopping as mush as I am. I was brave enough to head out on black Friday like many others (I know call me crazy), I honestly love going and not because of the deals (but I’m not complaining I love a good deal) but its a tradition my mom and I share and I really love that. I did mange to get my hands on some goodies but some I had to save for christmas, ugh! These are some of the treasures that I picked up from Sephora for myself and I am super excited to try! I love when the holidays come around because they always have the best gift packages that allows you to try so many different products without committing to the full size. Everyone has been buzzing about this Too Faced Better Then Sex Mascara and I was super excited to try this and as well as these products Josie Maran which I mean who wouldn’t love her stuff! Also being the skin products lover that I am I had to scoop up this little set from Boscia and the buzzed about Caudalie Beauty Elixir. I am super excited if you couldn’t tell to begin trying all of these and hopefully report back with some of my favorites. If any of you have tried them I would love to hear your thoughts or read your reviews so reach out! Talk to you soon!

I have seen so many holiday guides already I just think it is way too early to be starting that but I do think that sharing some of my favorite home decor choices is quite alright! All of my picks are from pretty much my go to place for cute and inexpensive home decor which is target and most of these items I have to been honest are sitting in my online shopping cart as we speak! I hope you all love these picks as much as I do and maybe give you some inspiration for the holidays in your own home.

November Birchbox

November Birchox 2

November Birchbix 3

Its a new month which means a whole new month of samples! Its pretty much like christmas or your birthday when you finally receive your boxes! This month Birchboxs’ theme was giving (very thanksgiving) and every box was shipped in a Red box to raise awareness for AID research. When you snapped a picture for your instagram, which we all do! (no shame!!)  Birchbox would then donate a dollar to the foundation! I love “Giving” back especially around the holidays so I really respect and am proud of Birchbox for giving back in such a big way. Now to the samples, I wont’t go into crazy detail about them but if you have any questions on my trials feel free to ask! What I got was Perlier Revitalizing Body Butter  in almond (one of my favorite scents), Amika Nourishg Mask, Gilchrist & Soames Spa Therapy Body Wash, Justin’s Chocolate Almond Butter (one of my favorite go to snacks with apples), The Blam Cosmetics Cindy-Lou Manizer, and two little smiles of Red Flower Illuminating Rose Collagen Renewal Face Serum. I am super excited about this months products and hopefully I will find a new love from it!

Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask

Pumpkin Mask 1

Pumpkin Mask 2

Pumpkin Mask 3

As every other beauty obsessed person out there this past weekend was a product bananza at Sephora thanks to the VIB and VIB Rouge discount! I did take full advantage as did my mother since the holidays are around the corner but the mask I am going to share with you today I actually got before it. Thankfully I did because when I went to get another just to stock up they were all sold out! If you haven’t seen it already this limited edition Pumpkin Enzyme Mask from Peter Thomas Roth is just about one of the most amazing things that has happened to my skin. Not only does it smell like pumpkin pie (no joke it really does) but it is powerful and effective! The reason this little jar of magic is so effective is because it contains Alpha Hydroxy Acid which peels aways the dead skin that gets built up on or face and it decongest our pores and the Aluminum Oxide polished your skin leaving it bright and rejuvenated. I have problem skin around my chin area and it even worse during certain times of the month which is so frustrating for me because I really do try to keep my skin clean and use products that are gentle and cleansing. This mask has completely helped my skin in such a big way, I put it on after I cleanse my face leave it on for 7 minutes and just wash it off. For me I can really see a glow on my skin after I wash it off and moisturize which is crazy because nothing has ever done that before. I will say that when I first put it on it burns right around my nose and the apples of my cheeks but that quickly goes away. I am so incredibly impressed with this mask and am going to buy another before it goes away. I hope this review helped you all and if you aren’t ready to shell out the amount for it, this mask actually comes in a little trio for $20 that you can pick up at sephora! Hope you all enjoyed and I would love to hear from any of you that have tried this as well and if it worked for you!

Jamberry Nails

I love doing my nails as a lot of you know by now and one of my friends on instagram Allison @ALLIFLWRJAMS introduced me to these awesome nail stickers from Jamberry. I have used nail stickers in the past but haven’t in a while so I was incredibly excited to be able to try these out. You get a sheet and it is enough for 10 fingers and toes (talk about a good deal!) and they last seriously forever, seriously mine lasted for over two weeks!!! Unlike traditional nail stickers you heat up the sticker to get it pliable and then apply it to the nail. This was a little difficult at first but thanks to Allison for sending me a video on how she applied them made the process a lot easier. I thought the print was so much fun for fall, muted colors that really remind me of changing leaves. If you love these or are interested in nail stickers that I would defiantly check these out and they have so many different prints its really hard just to choose a few! Follow Allison on instagram which has her contact information! Hope you all enjoy and I would love to see and hear about your favorite Jamberries!

Dry Bar Triple Sec

As you may know by now I am a huge dry shampoo freak! I love trying as many as I can to see what works and what leaves me wanting more. I have my solid go to’s for days when I need something that I know I will love and get the job done. The Detox Dry Shampoo from Dry Bar is hands down one of my favorite. So when wind came of the new Triple Sec from dry bar I knew I just HAD to try it! This is unlike a regular dry shampoo because it does three things in one. It gives major volume to flat limp hair or for those of us who were not gifted with hair that defies gravity, it acts as a light dry shampoo, and it provides UV protection for our colored hair friends. I have been testing this out for three weeks now and I am beyond thrilled with it! It not only smells of a tropical fresh paradise (which is important when it comes to dry shampoo) but it is translucent! I love that I don’t have to worry about making sure I rub out the white powder of traditional dry shampoos, I can just spray let it dry for a second then give it a good rub and I’m good. I have such fine hair and the volume that is gives my hair is almost unreal and it makes my hair smell so fresh all day as if I had just left the salon. I picked my Triple Sec at Sephora but if you have a Dry Bar in your area you can pick up there as well and online! Hope you all enjoyed this review and would love to hear if any of you have tried Triple Sec and what your thoughts are!

October Julep Maven Box

Black Magoc 1

Black Magic 2

I am so excited that it is finally October! Even though I live in south Florida and it doesn’t change season pretty much at all I still love the fall time. The days get shorter, shadows are longer and that means a whole new month of goodies from my monthly subscriptions! This month my Julep Maven box was the first to arrive and I am completely in love with the colors. Sticking to a fall theme The Black Magic Collection colors are completely perfect for the upcoming season and there is always a beauty bonus included. This month I got the colors DeAnn a beautiful and rich cranberry color and Logan which is the wonderful shimmering deep eggplant color. They are hands down wonderful and can not wait to use them My beauty item was their new Night Shift over night mask which when applied before bed helps to rejuvenate your skin and leave it bright a radiant in the morning! Like I said I am completely in love with this months box! If you are interested in becoming a Julep Maven I will link the information here and its a $20 a month subscription!
